CLASSES...


Classes are held in Caledonian Taekwondo Health & Fitness Centre 358 Netherton Road Anniesland Glasgow G13 1AX
(part of the Netherton Community Centre Complex) 

 

 

 

Mondays and Wednesdays 6.00pm to 8.00pm  for adults (aged 12 +) and Tuesdays from 6.00pm to 7.00pm for juniors. The class prices are; £3.00 if you work £2.00 for students, unemployed etc and £1.50 for juniors.

 

We recommend bringing along a small plastic (please) bottle. All other necessary equipment is supplied by the club.

 

We do not enforce a uniform policy although we do sell club t-shirts, hoodies, etc you are welcome to wear whatever feels comfortable.

 

The class is open to all levels and we welcome novice martial artists and experienced ring fighters alike.

 

We train all students as if they are fighting although the decision is left entirely to you. All that we ask is you decide when you are ready to compete that way the decision is based on what you can do rather than what you think you can’t do.

Monday

Instuctor: Mark Hendrie, Raj Singh & Craig Floan

Level: Basic - All

Description:

On Monday’s there’s a greater emphasis on fitness, so expect loads of pad drills, varied circuits and stretching.

 

Tuesday

Instuctor: Mark Hendrie & Stacey Butler

Level: Basic - Juniors

Description:

A great way for kids to get fit, become more confident, raise their self esteem and have loads of fun. We welcome children from age 5 to 11 for an hour of fun drills, games, sparring and circuit training. From this light hearted class we have developed successful competitors on the Muay Thai circuit including a British Champion.  

 

 

Wednesday

Instuctor: Mark Hendrie, Raj Singh & Craig Floan

Level: Basic - All

Description:

On Wednesdays the emphasis is on technique so expect refining techniques, sparring drills, ring craft, and off course the fighter’s circuit.  

 

 

Saturday run

Instuctor: Mark Hendrie

Level: Basic - Everyone welcome

Description:

This can vary from sessions of short hill sprints to long distance endurance runs. loads of fun and a great way to compliment the fitness work we do in Class.
